The rooms were expectionally clean. The towels were changed and rooms cleaned everyday. The owners were helpful in passing on their local knowledge of places of interests and where to eat. There was a good selection at breakfast and complimentary drinks in the room.
It felt as though it was not private enough at times.

I would highly rate this small b&b situated just a 10 minute walk from the centre of Bruges. It is small - only 3 rooms - but the facilities would match those of a good 4-star hotel and even better them in some instances. It is a typical 3-story characterful Flemish house - homely but also beautifully presented. Parking is across the road in a lock-up garage which was very convenient. We were welcomed by the very pleasant owner who offered us a complimentary drink on the terrace on arrival and gave us a detailed guide to the best places to visit on a map. He helped us up the stairs with our luggage to our room on the 3rd floor of the house which was beautiful. Elegant, contemporary and stylish, the room had beautiful wooden floors, a lovely 4-poster bed, a comfortable settee and the most amazing large bathroom. It boasted a jacuzzi bath, separate shower cubicle and twin sinks as well as complimentary toiletries. Some beers and soft drinks in the mini bar were free of charge and you could make tea and coffee in the room. In the morning we enjoyed a plentiful breakfast which included scrambled eggs and smoked salmon as well as the normal continental fare. We were also given freshly-squeezed orange juice, small pancakes with bananas and chocolate sauce and cheese and ham toasties. In all quite a feast! At breakfast we also met the owner's wife who was extremely friendly and was arranging flowers for the house which she had just bought from the Saturday market. We loved the Villa Des Raisins and its hosts and will definitely return on our next trip to mainland Europe.
Nothing really - obviously there was no lift up to the 3rd floor so it would probably not suit people with walking difficulties, however the climb was worth it for the beautiful room at the top! And we were helped with our luggage.

The location of this hotel is fantastic, with a secure garage across from it for anyone arriving by car (like us). Brilliant location, 5 minute walk from the Old Town & approx 15 min walk from Market Square (as seen in 'In Bruges'). Rooms are furnished to a high standard, with complimentary drinks in the mini bar, tea/coffee making facilities, a ridiculously comfortable bed & a lovely power shower. The landlord was very friendly and welcoming, offering us a drink on arrival, as well as giving us a local map & recommendations on places to go.
The only negative point to our stay was with the B&B only having 3 rooms, if the occupants all have breakfast the next day at the same time, it can be a little uncomfortable as you are all sat around one big table. Plus, my scrambled eggs were a little too raw for my liking but I believe this is how they are cooked in France / Belgium.

I cannot fault it. For us, it was perfect.

This hotel exceeded all our expectations. The attention to detail was remarkable, from the complimentary drink upon arrival to the thoughtful surprise every morning at breakfast. The rooms were luxurious and homely, with a large comfortable bed and a jacuzzi in the spacious bathroom. The location was perfect, just outside the old city walls in a quiet residential neighborhood, yet only a short walk to the center of town. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We couldn't have asked for more.
Nothing to fault, it was simply perfect.
